Evaluation of Children
Until recently, there was no special instructions about the estimation of children in England. Nevertheless, the Qualifications Authority and Education Program (VKOP) is strongly recommended that monitoring of the progress of each student. The Education Act 2002 established the main stage and introduced her form.
The form of the main stage was presented in September 2002 as a new, statutory, evaluation of children who start in a year to attend primary school. It abolished the previous system for estimating the income of children in primary schools. Following the presentation of the basic forms stage began with the evaluation of students enrolling in the primary stage. Guide to form the main stage, released VKOP showed how teachers should take the development of each child in relation to the goals of early learning, given full knowledge of the child (VKOP, 2003). The form of the basic steps should help to summarize all the knowledge gained during the pre-school education. The first form was completed at the end of the summer term 2003.
In Wales and Northern Ireland there is no statutory method of evaluating the children in early childhood education, but the manual offers constant monitoring of the progress of the child. Wales Book recommends:
"In order to progress the child was evaluated and recorded in a process of continuous observation, and then discussed with the parents to identify specific problems that must be addressed for successful learning."
Guide Northern Ireland (1997) stressed the need for carefully planning the training, so that it meets the needs of all children and to guarantee progress. It is also very important that the parents were informed of the development of their child.
